Breakfast at Tiffany's

"A girl can't read that sort of thing without her lipstick," however, Miss Golightly won't be too hard on you if you are reading this without lipstick on. It seems like almost every girl's favorite is Breakfast at Tiffany's, and why not? Audrey looks perfect in her little black dress, bug-like sunglasses and the perfect accessories, coffee and croissants.
What could be more fun than working in some movie-inspired fashion with some cupcakes? Well luckily for me I was asked to make some cupcakes for a wedding reception for Nancy's friends. She had only known me for about 48 hours and already...."So, I hear you like cupcakes?" Is it just written on my forehead?! Ok..maybe the car decals and necklaces give it away...
So she, for some crazy reason, trusted me to create some treats for the wedding.
Trying to get any ideas of what she wanted, she said the bride loved chocolate and their wedding colors were black and turquoise...chocolate? ....turquoise...Tiffany boxes? Yes...this needed to happen.
And here is what happened!

For the little Tiffany bows I went and got some white ready-to-use fondant and rolled out a couple of strips in about an inch in thickness. For the loops, take the two ends and bring the the center of the strip to form the bow. A dab of water helps to keep it together. Take another little piece of fondant and wrap around the center of the two loops to form the center of the bow. I used piece of paper towels to place into the loops so that they won't fall while drying. And voila! A fun little treat for all to enjoy! (just as long as you like chocolate...and awesome things)
